Kunle Elebute is the Senior Partner at KPMG in Nigeria and the Chairman of KPMG Africa. He has over 39 years of professional experience advising clients in the public/private sectors in Nigeria, West, and SubSahara Africa. Prior to assuming the role of Senior Partner, Kunle served as head of various sectors including Financial Services and more recently Infrastructure, Government, and Healthcare. He has also led various strategic and transformational projects for local & global clients. He was admitted as a Partner and head of the Financial Services Audit practice in 1996, was made responsible for the Privatisation and Emerging Markets Practice in 1999, and led the Financial Advisory Services practice which included corporate finance, transaction, and forensic services for the West African sub-region from 2002 – 2008. He became head of Advisory Services from 2008 to 2016 with responsibility for Deal Advisory, Management Consulting, Risk Consulting, and Information Technology Advisory. Kunle has a degree in Economics from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom (1982), qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA). He is a member of the KPMG Africa Board, the KPMG Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMA) Board, and the KPMG Global Board. Kunle also serves on the Board of several not-for-profit organizations including; Population Services International, Nigerian Economic Summit Group, and the American Business Council.

Alero is a Transformation Strategist with an invaluable understanding of sector-wide reforms in Nigeria. Her strength lies in her diverse career experience in the public and private sectors. In 2006 she joined the Transformation Task Team of the former Minister of Education, an experience that ignited her passion for the reform of the Educational system in Nigeria. This inspired her work in Education policy and as the founder of Incubator Africa Limited, a development agency that mobilizes and equips Africans to collaborate and actively participate in strategic reform activities across three key sectors: Education & Training, Health, and Governance. In 2014, Alero was Chair of the Technical Sub-committee of the 20th Nigeria Economic Summit. She has continued to serve in the Education sphere working with International Development Partners in various capacities both in Nigeria and Ghana. Through collaboration with JC Quality Inc., Alero has presented papers on Education reform in Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya. She is a graduate of Oxford University and also has a Sloan Masters degree in Management from the London Business School.

Nike is an accomplished Executive (Chartered Accountant/Human Capital Specialist/Social Impact Advisor) with global exposure to a variety of industries to senior Board level, including the Private, Consulting and Not for Profit (NGO) sectors. Nike worked for a few accounting/consulting firms for the initial 15 years of her career, which included many years with Arthur Andersen/KPMG in Nigeria, where she was part of senior management and led client engagements in several sectors. She began her entrepreneurial journey when she established both PeoplePrime & PeopleTemp, which she led as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). These years involved her launching various career and skills development initiatives with clients. Nike’s passion for human capital development prompted her interest in the education and youth development sector. She transitioned her career into the Social Impact sector and co-founded initiatives like “Teach for Nigeria”. She has further expanded her career working as the Chief Operating Officer at the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) based in London. She acquired a BS in Business Administration from The American University, Washington, DC and a Masters’ degree in Educational Planning, Economics and International Development from The Institute of Education, University College London (UCL).

Segun is a senior-level professional with proven skills and experience in strategy formulation, project execution, financial services, corporate governance, and e-Business locally and internationally. His work experience spans several leading corporations, including; Accenture, GTBank, and Heirs Alliance. Segun is an Associate of the Nigeria Leadership Initiative (part of the Aspen Global Leadership Network), an authorized trainer of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Global Corporate Governance Forum. He is also on the guest faculty at the Lagos Business School and Financial Institutions Training Centre (FITC). Along with the Teach for Nigeria board, Segun also serves on the boards of Gidimobile Limited and Ray of Hope Foundation.

Ayodele is a finance executive with experience building businesses, serving clients, and structuring complex transactions across the continent. He was a consultant at McKinsey in Johannesburg, Co-Founder and Board Director of Food-Pro, a food processing business focused on exporting finished food products from Africa where historically raw materials were exported. Ayo started a new merchant banking business in Nigeria. He is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University , also has an MSc from New Jersey Institute of Technology and an MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.   Ayodele is an investment banker, who executed corporate transactions over US$5bn in the areas of financing, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate restructuring. I established and managed the FirstRand Bank representative office in Nigeria. In 2013, Ayodele led the effort to secure a merchant banking license to set up Rand Merchant Bank in Nigeria, including developing the strategic vision for the bank and the recruitment of key hires for the organization. As a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, Ayodele implemented performance improvement & turnaround programs using lean network principles, developed expansion strategies, performed operational diagnostic assessments focusing on the operating system, performance management, mindsets, and capabilities as well as designed the organizational structure and operational processes for several African & global businesses. Ayodele has a first degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria and earned an MBA in 2004 from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University USA. He also has a Master’s in Telecommunications from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, USA. Ayodele is a certified executive and business coach and a black belt Lean Six Sigma Expert.

Folasade Adefisayo was the Hon. Commissioner for Education in Lagos State, Nigeria during the first tenure of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu led administration. Before her appointment by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, she had been an active player in the education sector in Nigeria. As the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Adefisayo is supporting the Governor of the State, His Excellency Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu in revolutionizing education in many uncommon ways. Before her appointment to the Cabinet of Lagos State, she was the Principal Consultant/CEO of Leading Learning Ltd, an educational consultancy firm incorporated in 2014. She was consulted for public and private schools, state governments, NGO’s and development partners. Her areas of professional focus include teachers training, leadership training, school set-up and schools’ transformation. Folasade has nearly 40 years working experience spanning banking operations, organizational restructuring, human resources management, international trade and education. She retired from Corona Schools’ Trust Council in 2010 after serving as was the Executive Director and CEO for 8 years. She voluntarily served as the Director of Corona Secondary School, Agbara from 2010 to 2014. Folasade Adefisayo is an education activist with a passion for student learning, school transformation and teacher training. She is deeply concerned about the learning crisis in Nigeria schools and has volunteered to work with the Federal Government, Lagos State Government, Oyo State Government and Osun State Government. She is also dedicated in improving other peoples’ lives and has served as a volunteer with a number of NGO’s – Federal Nigeria Society for the Blind, Volunteer Corps, Junior Achievement, Fate Foundation, Yedi, Teach for Nigeria, Oando Foundation, SWORTE Talks among others. She was a Merit Award winner of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and a University Scholar of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. In 2011, she decided to get certified as a professional educator and embarked on an online post-graduate course of the University of Nottingham. Folasade Adefisayo graduated with distinctions at both the diploma and master’s levels.

Abdulrahman Mijinyawa is currently the General Manager of Development and Subsurface for Shell Nigeria. An engineer by training with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College London, he joined the Shell Group as a graduate trainee in October 2005 His career to date has seen him work across the entire value chain of the Nigerian upstream oil and gas industry, from oil and gas field development, medium and long-term strategy and portfolio planning to new business development with a focus on Nigerian content. He has also spent time in the Netherlands studying approaches for extending the economic life of Nigeria’s onshore oil and gas assets. Throughout his career, Abdulrahman has sought to use the means at his disposal to mentor and empower young persons. He is one of Shell Nigeria’s Nigerian University campus ambassadors, a role he uses to mentor and coach the next generation of engineers. In 2015, he mentored a team of students from ABU to participate in the global Shell eco-marathon in Rotterdam, the Netherlands– a student challenge competition that aims to encourage improved energy efficiency while providing university students with international exposure and experience. Abdulrahman is passionate about individual and collective growth, reducing energy and education poverty by enhancing access to energy and quality education, and promoting the power of digital technologies to positively transform the way we live. Along with being a Teach For Nigeria Ambassador, Abdulrahman is also a Trustee on the board of FlexiSAF Foundation.

Joke Chukwumah is the founder of Children’s International School, Lekki, Lagos. A school she founded in 2003 which is now arguably the best educational Establishment in Nigeria in terms of the quality of teaching and learning, infrastructural facilities, resources and learning outcomes. Joke started off her career in banking where she rose to the position of Assistant General Manager in 1997 having worked with Continental Merchant Bank, Chartered Bank, and finally Guaranty Trust Bank in Corporate banking, Consumer banking, branch Management, and Corporate affairs departments. Joke was at a time Chairman, InvestmentOne Funds Managers Limited, Chairman InvestmentOne Pensions Limited, and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Children’s Developmental Centre, Surulere, Lagos. She is currently on the Board of InvestmentOne Financial Services Limited, Keystage Educational Services Limited, Chadsworth Sixth Form College, and Chadstone Teacher Training Institute. She is a member of Wimbiz where she is a member of the Advocacy Committee for Women on Boards (WIMBOARD). She acts as a mentor to many women navigating the Corporate world and Entrepreneurship. She is a member of the IOD and more recently has been invited to join the Board of Teach for Nigeria. In recognition of her contributions to the Iyin Ekiti Community in Ekiti state, she was honoured and conferred with the Honourary title of “Eye Fiwajoye of Iin Kingdom” in 2018.

Lai Koiki studied Geography at the University of Lagos and then went on to study Early Childhood education in the UK. She returned to Nigeria and took up a job as a teacher in a private school after which, she set up Greensprings in 1985 with just 3 children. Greensprings began as a preschool and later included a creche. But today, after over 25 years, Greensprings schools remains one of the most respected and highly rated privately owned schools in Nigeria. Lai Koiki is a pioneer in providing and promoting inclusive special-needs education in Nigeria. She is a founding member of the Association of Private Educators in Nigeria (APEN) and is a member of its board of trustees. She is also a board member of Accreditation International, a US-based organization that accredits international schools and sets academic standards for the improvement of schools. Mrs Koiki is a strong leader and a passionate educator, with a track record for discovery and execution. She attended the University of Lagos where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and went on to the UK to earn a Montessori Diploma from St. Nicholas Montessori Training Centre. The Greensprings’ concept was conceived and introduced by Mrs Koiki in 1985. Her ground-breaking innovations and commitment to the educational sector have kept Greensprings on steady growth. As a passionate educator, she provides learning facilities, training, and support to public schools, private schools, and other educational organisations.

Dudun Peterside is a Psychologist and an Executive Coach who also works as a Human Development Adviser and Consultant Trainer. She is a Managing Partner at Narita Learning Centre, where she brings her over 35 years of experience in psychology, and provides specialist services through her advanced training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Dudun has over 15 years of experience in executive coaching and has coached private and corporate personnel, including board members, company directors, and senior management. Her clients include multinational and local organizations such as Diageo, Shell, Unilever, Airtel, Lagos State Government, Stanbic IBTC bank, First Bank, and United Bank for Africa. Her coaching methods are transformative, in that they are highly solution-focused. She particularly helps her clients to find innovative strategic approaches to their goals and challenges, thereby ensuring their actions are more purposeful and sustainable. Dudun holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology & Education and a Masters’s degree in Educational Administration. She is a certified Trainer and Master Practitioner of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and is also licensed to train coaches. She is a certified provider of The Listening Programme – Advanced Brain Technologies and is also a certified consultant facilitator of The Achievement Profile. Dudun is passionate about philanthropy and is the Founder of the Love Foundation, a charitable organization committed to uplifting people with special needs through music and the performing arts. In 1998 she co-founded Lifestream, a non-profit organization that sponsored overseas surgical operations for young children with complex heart problems for 10 years, through the ‘Save a Child’s Heart’ project. Dudun serves on the Advisory Board of Children’s International School (CIS), and is a Trustee of the ANAP Foundation, as well as a Co-Founder of the ANAP Equestrian Centre. She is also a Trustee of the International Coaching Federation Nigeria (ICF).

Abubakar Suleiman is an economist and a banker with over 20 years experience in consulting and financial services. As the Chief Executive Officer of Sterling Bank Plc, his top priority is to optimize the impact of financial intermediation in critical sectors that can catalyze growth and create a future of shared prosperity for all Nigerians. These sectors are Health, Education, Agriculture, Renewable Energy and Transportation, and are at the H.E.A.R.T of Sterling. Before his current role, he served as an Executive Director and Chief Finance Officer of the bank and was the executive sponsor of the Bank’s non-interest banking business (Sterling Alternative Finance). Abubakar holds a bachelor’s degree (B.Sc) in Economics from the University of Abuja and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Major Programme Management from Said Business School, University of Oxford. His previous work experience includes tax advisory at Arthur Andersen and financial markets with Citibank Nigeria. He is a firm believer in the role of efficient markets, emerging technologies, and small businesses in unlocking productivity, improving national competitiveness, and driving inclusive economic growth. He currently serves on the Governing Council of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), and the Advisory Boards of Lagos Business School (LBS), Enterprise Development Center (EDC) of the Pan Atlantic University and the Bantu Blockchain Foundation.

Bayo Oyewole is Lead Public Private Partnerships Specialist in the Global Infrastructure Facility at the World Bank Group in Washington DC where he helps manage the GIF’s interactions with its Funding, Technical and Advisory Partners. Bayo joined the GIF from IFC where he most recently worked in the PPP Transactions Advisory Department (C3P) from 2011-2014, advising African governments on structuring and implementing public-private partnerships. From 2009-2011, he served as Acting Manager of IFC’s Global Partnerships and Advisory Services Operations Department where he managed the Corporation’s relationship with the international donor community, including foundations and corporate philanthropy. Prior to that he worked in several IFC departments, including the Trust Funds, Environment, and SME Departments. Before joining IFC, Bayo served for several years in the World Bank as Senior Advisor in the office of the Executive Director for Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and an MBA from the University of Maryland, College Park. Bayo serves on the board of The Advocacy Project, an international human rights advocacy non-profit organization. He is married with two boys.

Mrs. Catherine Bickersteth is co-Director of Strategic Educational Advisory Services Ltd. – a company dedicated to nurturing world-class intellect with a social conscience. Mrs. Bickersteth holds a B.Sc. in Economics and an MSc. in Management Science. She also has a PGD in Teaching English as a Foreign Language as well as various other certificates. Mrs. Bickersteth is a British Council certified educational advisor. She participated in the Learning Journey to Finland and the Harvard Think Tank on 21st Century Education 2012 among other education-focused initiatives. Mrs. Bickersteth worked with Citibank N.A. and the Department for International Development (DFID) before establishing her own company to provide services which enable students at all levels to compete and excel anywhere in the world.

Frank has over 13 years proven leadership experience at both State and Federal government levels and well over 20 years of same in the private sector of the economy. An expert in the administration of human resources, and brand strategist per excellence in both the public and private sector. He has built a strong foundation in public administration and public management over time, from high-level leadership roles in the public service as well as from education at the Harvard University Kennedy School of government, the Aspen Institute, Colorado and University of Maiduguri. The recognition of his intellect, dedication to duty and personal integrity as the Chief of Staff to the Government of Enugu State led to his appointment as a Federal Minister in 2003 making him one of the youngest members of the Nigerian Federal Cabinet in which he served. He currently sits on the boards of some of Nigeria’s leading companies for similar considerations. In February 2009, Frank was appointed the Director – General of Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), an office he occupies to date.

Together these entities represent the merchant banking and asset management business of FBN Holdings Plc. He joined FBN Capital in 2011 as Deputy Managing Director and was appointed CEO in 2012. Prior to joining the FBN Holdings group, he spent two decades working in international/global investment banks, including successfully developing and managing the sub-Saharan Africa investment banking businesses at Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse. During this time, he arranged finance, provided strategic advice to public and private sector organizations, and built a wide network of relationships with international institutions/investors focused on sub-Saharan Africa. He has an MSc in International Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics, an MBA from Cranfield University in the United Kingdom, and a BSc in Economics from the University of Ibadan.

Tosin Osunkoya is an EMBA alumnus of the prestigious INSEAD Business School. He is an accounting graduate and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria (CPIN). He spent a significant part of the early stage of his professional career with Kakawa Discount House where he rose to the role of the Chief Dealer before his engagement with Zenith Capital in 2007. In 2010, having successfully created and led the fixed-income trading desk in Zenith Capital and Zenith Bank, Tosin joined UBA Plc as an Assistant General Manager, head of group trading, charged with the responsibilities of overseeing the various treasury trading teams of the bank. Prior to setting up Comercio Partners, Tosin was the Head of Trading at Rand Merchant Bank Nigeria (Investment Banking Arm of FirstRand Bank of South Africa) where he was charged with the responsibility of setting up the trading and sales desks and broadly pivotal to building the global market business of RMB in Nigeria. He was also engaged in FirstRand’s strategic expansion across Africa.

Dr Femi Ogunsanya gained a Second Class Upper with Honours in Botany from the University of Lagos, followed by a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Bristol, UK. She lectured at the University of Lagos for ten years, in the Faculty of Science after which she relocated to London as a Research Fellow at the University College London, for three years. In 1993, she returned to Nigeria and established Oxbridge Tutorial College. Oxbridge was the first Sixth Form College in the country and remains the premiere specialist Sixth Form College based in Lagos, Nigeria. Dr. Ogunsanya is Chairman of the Board of Governors Association of Private Educators in Nigeria (APEN), Chairman of the Lagos Anglican Schools Management Board (LASMAB) and Chairman of Igbobi College, Yaba. She also sits on the Board of Preparation for Life (PFL), an educational consultancy outfit.

Oladipo Delano founded the GLP Cares Foundation, which was set up to give young Nigerians “a second chance at prosperity” by establishing an educational facility that provides educational support to underprivileged youths. This effort birthed the Grace Lake Scholarship Fund which has provided eighteen (18) full ride scholarships for bright young individuals to attend reputable universities in Nigeria. It has also awarded a scholarship to a beneficiary to study for a Master’s Degree at the University of Oxford. Joke Silva is a Nigerian actress, director, and businesswoman. She graduated from the University of Lagos and Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London and began a career in film in the early 1990s. In 2006 she won “Best Actress in a Leading Role” at the 2nd Africa Movie Academy Awards for her performance in Women’s Cot, and “Best Actress in a Supporting Role” at the 4th Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2008 for her performance as a grandmother in White Waters. She is married to actor Olu Jacobs. Together, they founded and operate the Lufodo Group covering film production and distribution assets and the Lufodo Academy of Performing Arts, where she is Director of Studies. She is also the pioneering managing director of Malete Film Village, in association with Kwara State University. On the 29th of September 2014, Silva received recognition as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic, one of Nigeria’s National Honours Awards, at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.

Prior to founding Verod Capital, Eric was the co-founder and managing partner of Fountainhead Media Group, an investment and advisory firm focused on the Technology, Media and Telecoms sector in Nigeria. Eric previously worked at Financial Derivatives Company Limited. He is a Director of EMZOR Pharmaceutics Industries Limited, Greensprings Educational Services Limited, Central Securities Clearing Systems (CSCS) Limited and on the Board of Regents of Harris Manchester College, Oxford University. He received a B.Sc in Economics from the University of Houston, Texas and an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, Oxford, England. Eric Idiahi is a financier and venture-builder of numerous African companies. He is Partner and co-founder of Verod Capital Management Limited, a $300 million Africa-focused private equity firm he co-founded in 2008. Verod Capital Management is active across various sectors and aims to generate economic value with sustainability for the communities in which it operates. At Verod, Eric has led several notable mergers, acquisitions and investments in the technology, financial services, education and pharmaceutical sectors. He has a B.Sc in Economics from the University of Houston, Texas and an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, Oxford, England. He sits on the boards of several companies including EMZOR Pharmaceutical Industries Limited; Greensprings Educational Services Limited; Rainbow Educational Services Limited; Central Securities Clearing Systems (CSCS) Limited; Eleva Group; Tangerine Life Insurance Limited; African Lifestyle Limited; and Lancaster University, Ghana. Eric is also an avid art collector. He was originally selected for the Class of 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic deferred his Fellowship to 2022.

Hajiya Fatima Wali-Abdurrahman holds a BA (Arch.) & BA (Urban Studies) from the University of Minnesota. She also holds an M.Sc. (Arch.) in Economics and Management of Construction from the Bartlett School of Architecture & Planning, University College (UCL), University of London. Fatima is a qualified Facility Management Professional (FMP) and is currently pursuing an MBA in Real Estate and Construction, from the University of Reading, U. K. Fatima is the CEO of Filmo Group. As a young graduate, she was a resident architect at the Air Force Military School, Jos, and was in charge of converting it from the old Jos Airport. Afterwards, she joined Multi-Systems Consultants Limited Architects and Planners, Kano as a resident architect from 1983–85. In 1987, she worked briefly with Femi Majekodunmi & Associates, Lagos. Her experience in property design and management saw her as Head of Real Estate Department, Cosmocorp Realty (a part of the Cosmocorp Group) from 1990–92. In 1992, she was appointed General Manager of Alpha Properties International Ltd., the post she held until she resigned to jointly set up Participant Properties Limited in 1994 as the Managing Director. She has managed the firm from inception to date, and successfully expanded its activities to Abuja, overseeing the overall activities of all the branches. Fatima is director at BGL PLC, one of the foremost investment banking companies in Africa with head office in Nigeria, offering first class financial advisory, corporate finance and private banking/asset management services to an expanding clientele comprised of institutional, corporate, government and ultra-high net-worth clients.

She has done tremendous work as an advocate for Education Reforms in her country Nigeria. Yinka began her professional life in the Advertising sector as a Copywriter at Promoserve before moving to the Client service Department. She moved into the world of Entrepreneurship in 1999 by setting up Goals and Ideas, a fully registered Advertising Agency that worked on various Multinational Accounts. She eventually ventured into the Education Industry bringing in her vast experience in the world of Marketing Communications to support Educational Institutions. She is well known for innovative and highly creative programs her Organisation Edumark has designed for the Education sector. Yinka’s outfit Edumark is a leading provider of Marketing Communication services to top institutions in various parts of Nigeria.
