Over the next decade, Teach for Nigeria will have a network of over 20,000 leaders across all geopolitical zones in Nigeria working in deep partnership to impact over a million students each year. Collectively, we will ensure our students, regardless of socioeconomic background, attain excellence, fulfill their potential, and become leaders of themselves and their communities.
Nigeria is a diverse nation with various challenges. To deepen our impact, we are scaling using a decentralized network model. We will have
Strong state organizations innovating in their local contexts, creating deep impact across communities, and building local capability.
A central organization sharing knowledge and solutions to accelerate impact and provide strong guidance and resources to increase execution certainty.
An interdependent network with independent actors ensuring all children have equitable access to education regardless of socio-economic background.
To launch state entities, interested Social Entrepreneurs will go through 3 phases:
In the Sign-up Phase, Social Entrepreneurs express their interest in joining the TFN network. They undergo a pre-screening process to assess their fit and alignment with the network's vision and standards.
In the Pre-partnership Phase, Social Entrepreneurs ensure alignment with the TFN network vision, standards, and unifying principles. Social Entrepreneurs develop the different components of the program plan per the unifying principles of the network, develop a program/business plan, and build the required capabilities to join the network.
In the Partnership Phase, states are officially signed into the network, after meeting the required partnership criteria.
